Was looking around, found this: http://www.discover.com/issues/nov-05/cover/
It makes interesting reading, altho i haven't read it all yet.
Can't believe how they could make a clock to run so precisely for so long, but will it work, its costing a bit, and its 60ft tall!

PMSL, well... i was wondering were it gets its source of power? i was joking about batterys by the way (if you never noticed).

I must concur: that was a rather atrocious display of English from you there, NapsterUK! :eek: :)
As to the clock, it is indeed pretty cool! I saw the picture of the prototype and thought, "Cor! That's a big clock", then continued to read the caption and discovered the finished version would actually be 60ft tall!
Needless to say, it's a very interesting design and I think it'll look very neat indeed when it's finished and in motion.
