Hey guys, after formatting my harddisk, I am having problems with the save games I've put back into the folder working..

Im putting the player folder with savegames inside, plus the system and game.cfg files into this directory:

Z:\Far Cry\Profiles\player

But I'm having issues.

The profiles are recognised in the game, but the save games aren't.

Any ideas? I'm sure this is the correct directory, as the profiles are OK.

Is there anything else I need to do? I've removed the game from the hard-disk before and re-installed and kept the save games, but I know that this is different.

Thanks muchly

Alex

Thanks guys, neither of these worked, Groundrush, this is where all the save games and profiles are and still no luck..

Any other ideas?

If not, I'll have to redo the levels..

Thanks boys

This is what I did.

I saved my save games on to a disk, reformated my hardrive etc and then reinstalled Farcry

I then recreated my profile from scratch and started the first level and then waited for a first auto save

I then quit the game and then replaced the new save game folder with the one the one I had previoulsy saved.

It worked fine for me.. :)

Yep..get the latest patches 1.33 is the latest.

I reinstalled my copy & some of the saved games were not available until I patched it.

Nice one lads, I'll patch it this evening.....

Didn't think about starting a game and then adding the save games in after the first autosave... nice :)
