wow just compared em to the club3d 7800gt.. theres not alot in it tbh :S the 7800gt performs better against it than i thought! better in alot of cases actually.. that's surprised (but slightly pleased) me there.

Apparently the X1800XL overclocks like crazy which is a bonus given the delay in it's release.

It's crazy, you wait 6 months after your competition to release a card, and then it performs as well as the second top of the line offering?

This just makes me happy i chose a 7800GT, with the new nforce drivers i'm already seeing good overclocks.

That's 1 for Nvidia, now all that remains is to see how X1800XL compares to 7800GT SLI

which driver version are you using? i use 81.85 (now none beta) but i spotted an 81.87?

okie doke, let me know what clocks u get on the 7800 :) the thing that annoys me is the "must test before applying" thing on the display properties thing.. is there anyhting u can do it with outside of the display settings? because apparently the BFG one can do 510 on water.. and i'm on water but it wont "pass the test" at anything above 487 core
