The new Steam has been released. It has a new layout and better looks. It is more user friendly this time around. Should automatically update by itself when your run Steam next. If anyone has problems with it, post here.
I really like it. The curves are much nicer than the squared corners and the whole thing looks far more pleasing to the eye.
On a similar note, Ragdoll Kung Fu (http://ragdollkungfu.com/) comes out in a few hours. Anyone got it preordered? Personally I'm looking forward to it. Considering the majority of it was done by a single person it looks fantastic.

The new steam is awesome - really looks good and you can see that Valve are really serious about making people like rag-doll-mark famous for his obvious talent. excellent stuff.
I ordered rag doll when it first popped up but thought it was out next week. might just have to sit up and wait (whens it released?)

11PM. Glad to see at least one other Kustom fellow has got it. The game has multiplayer of up to 8 people and it looks to be a right laugh (especially that wacky football mode!)

to be honest I always buy anything steam and thought rather than watch the previews and get all the news I thought I'd just get to know the game whilst I'm playing with it. truly I never knew about the football or the multiplayer mode  I can wait till 11 but my eyes cant. off to bed. just 38 minutes... too much... nope gone I'll play it tomo.

come on Splaty, whats it like. I was too tired to wake up early to play it and now I'm like a kid at Christmas - I want it and I want it now!!!!
I might end up watching the trailer now just to get a glimpse of what I'm going to enjoy later on...damn you sleepy eyes.
Wow, this game is brilliant!
Don't let the fact that it's an indie game, only costs £7 and only uses the mouse fool you into thinking this game is sub-par - far from it! It's one of the most original games I can think of, with a unique control system and very stylised graphics. Not to mention the hilarious storyline full of kung fu frolics and tongue-in-cheek humour.
The control system itself consists only of the mouse. The keyboard is not necessary, though you can use it to chat on multiplayer. To move you simply click and drag a limb of your character (who, by the way, is fully customisable) and drag it. The usual way of walking is to either drag each leg in turn, or pull on the head whilst pushing down to automate the leg-walking. Alternatively, you can pull strongly on one of his limbs and send him flying across the level.
Levels are attractive and full of surprises. There's a bunch of weapons ranging from sticks to nunchuckus and believe me when I say they're great fun to use - you simply roll your mouse as fast as possible and watch them fly (and, if they're heavy enough, fling your character around with them!). Most levels also have different height-based areas for combat. You can stay on the ground or you can jump up (which takes a bit of getting used to) to the higher areas. Alternatively, eating mushrooms will enable you to use "Mushroom Power" which lets you go briefly into slow motion and fly up into the sky as though there's no gravity.
Sorry if this seemed brief, but there's no use me writing up a large review when countless other websites are doing the same.
It's ace! Didnt stay up last night but had a bash before work and what a laugh!
Stuck on level 2 (made her sick eating too many mushrooms) and ran out of time but LOL this looks like it's going to be a good crack.
May mate bought it also...he sayed up til 1.15 this morning playing it - I'll get him to post later as I'm sure he got further
Who's up for footie later on???

Count me in.
I, unwittingly, stayed up till around 12.30 playing through the single player. Got to around level 6 when I decided it would be best to get some shut eye.

I need a bigger mousemat and a bigger desk!
cool game though, cool graphics and some really odd humour/actions/videos. I must admit, its not my complete cup of tea, but it will give me some late nights trying to perfect the jumping (flying?)
I'm on level 2 after 2 tries and its proving a nightmare, those damn wasps. I'm off to play some more... just had to report.
yeah those wasps!!! Ahhhhhh....onto level 5/6 going to have another go in a bit
last level....

in combat never prance like a tit...
love this game. pity its so short. on the last level with 87000 points, got fried though. getting your energy back up isn't the easiest thing in the world mid combat.
