Tryed this so called new patch and it`s crap,heatseekers still go through choppers and still go way of course when fired,theres a list a mile long that`s need`s to be done but i cant be bothered anymore :/

i think something is wrong with the ranking system

they've lowered and changed what you have to get to get the ranks.. btw heatseakers can go thru things like black hawks.. they are setup as such that the hitboxes are accurate .. missiles go through gaps ;) it's rather good.. unless you mean through it it'self then obviously that's bad :P

maybe it's my sound card then i should get my X-Fi 2day so that will fix it... if thats it.. i haven't bothered putting the audigy on .. less hassle

I still suffer from crashes and slowdown :( Gonna do a full format at the weekend, hopefully that should sort it, i have way too much cr*p on my machine.

Another crap patch :rolleyes: I ranked 3 levels up with in 5mins :eek: Anyways, they have reduced the rank system to less points are required to rank up. The BF2 community did want the point system to be reduced, but i think they reduced it abit too much...

The lower ranks do seem a little too close together but I suppose you can't please everyone. The higher ranks still require quite a bit of effort, I know it will take me a long time to get up to 50,000 points.

I'm happy with most of the other changes they've made, no more BH capping flags in an instant. (although it was fun if you were on the BH :o )

nice to play some wake island but like 1.0 its playing me up i get in a server then it says i have lost my conenction after about 5 mins of playing i thought the problem was sorted when 1.2 came out dam annoying!

I have heard using X-fi drivers with an audigy is much more stable and gives better quality.

it's... just.. awesome... i thought it was good before on the Audigy 2 but it's just.. Fantastic.. and you can tell theres 128 sounds there too the depth, eax and stuff just sounds so fantasticly emmersive.. i feel at home!

Have they got a room just full of Chimpanzees making this game or something? I mean do they just feed them bannas while they randomly tap away at a keyboard? Its pathetic, if they were producing anything else (like electrical goods) they would get slaughtered with high returns, followed by having to withdraw from the shops etc. I'm ****ed off enough now with this, gonna wait at least 3-6 months before i buy another BF game or EA game to wait till they sort out all the problems first, dont fancy being a free beta tester for them again and losing my rag cause it keeps crashing and messing up my pc. The Sods!

I havent even played online at all and now i'm lance corporal :p The game is still such a ram hog i wish they could optimise it a bit better :( I have to end loads of stuff to run the damm thing! I can run the call of duty 2 demo fine with my background processes on etc and it looks a damm site nicer as well :rolleyes: Bit disappointed with it, and don't really have any desire to play it to be honest.
