View Full Version : In Car PC Land Rover Freelander
Hello all,
I'm wondering if anyone has any experience installing a tiny PC in a Landrover freelander, I'm toying with the idea and was interested in seeing options/example from people who have done it.

You'd have been better posting this in the In-car PC's (http://forums.kustompcs.co.uk/showthread.php?t=22824) 'sticky' at the top of this forum.
Either ask a MOD to move it (I can't do it myself)... or start another thread in there ;)

Try my site Ikonia: www.digital-car.co.uk it's the UK forum for in-car computing...

We haven't heard from the guy since the last post in the thread in [b]September Dave... so I think it's safe to assume he's either got things sorted by now, or he's sacked the idea
Nice bump though :D
maybe try emailing him hugo_horse@hotmail.com :p
hehe
no no I'm still here.
I read more on these forums than post being honest.
I took the advice posted, and looked at some of the other forums and links that where a bit more specialised.
Got some excellent input, and around some other problems which I didn't mention, such as location for the screen as the console area was actually a little small.
I've got it pretty much put together, just need to finalise how to put it in to the car, how to power it and a few other minor glitches.
Thanks for the input.
I'll put up some pictures / info once its a bit closer to being completed as this is a bit of a side / spare time project for me.
