Is anyone here up for a big game of Source one night soon?

I have a server i might be able to clear, we could split into teams or just have a free for all public match

Seems a lot of interest, I have a passworded server available (12 man only though) Let me know if anyone can get hold of a larger one.

and we need to work out a time that suits everyone..

How about Friday or Saturday night around 7/8ish if your not all out getting hammerd :p

I thought it was tonight??? Could allways use my Clan server, I got admin rights, and loads of normal/custom maps....

wot sort of spec duz a source server need to be? and what sorta net connection speed wld do?

i have a 2mb dsl connection.... this any good for hosting games?

no home has enough upload speed... ud need a proper server host for a game of more than 4 people really

Youd need at least 512mb upload speed - preferably more.

One of the chaps I know has a quad-bonded ADSL broadband connection and he can host..

mmmm - 8mb down, 1mb up :D

yeh the server i have is part of a Sponsorship from www.clanservers.com (http://www.clanservers.com) and is located in London so it has great pings :)

You guys do realise Kustom have their own CS:Source server, right? 20 man job.

Cool just added it to my faves, we could use that then - doesn't need to be passworded and its 20 man as opposed to 12 :)

If everyone is up for it I would like to try and have this big get together tonight around 8ish on the Kustom CSS server.

Bit of a problem. When anyone tries to connect to the Kustom Server they get an "out of date" error.

So looks like we need to find another server...
