Has anybody got one yet. My mate has and i want to say they are better than i expected just like a ps2 and tv shrunk into one. Infact the graphics are better than a ps2 and i realy think sony have made a good one this time. In game and asda at 9:30 this morning they had sold out of them wich go's to show how well they have sold.

the graphics on the ps2 are considerably better ;)
the graphics on the psp are good tho for a hand held, the best to date no doubt, wipeout pure is very good and good to show off its graphic capability.
i had mine months ago and sold it,i was expecting a bit more from it and it bored me easily but dont get me wrong its a good console in its own right it just didnt really do much for me apart from wipeout.
cheers.
Yeah, i would say ps1 graphics, on the small screen though they look high quality, but on wipeout for example, the buildings etc look quit ebasic, wipeout 2097 looked better.

Not really. Son'ys problem as that, although they could have, they did not supply each retailer with very many PSPs, just like in Japan and America, so that they could say, for example,
"On the first day in the shops, the PSP sold out!".
Also, when quoting how many have been 'sold', Sony use shipped consoles, as opposed to nintendo's sold console method.
The fact that Sony's attitude to cut off imports, basically attacking the games community that essentially hyped up the console in the first place has lowered my view of themselves and how they respect their gaming market, I don't think I will be getting one, let alone many Sony products in the future.
