mATX + full ATX power supply? Should keep the 7800GTX'ers happy! :)
Certainly knocks the Antec Aria into a ****ed hat.

I'm beginning to like Silverstone more and more these days. That's a very slick looking shuttle! I'm tempted to build a shuttle sometime.

What I meant to say was I WAS gonna build a shuttle soon, BUT that looks lush :) Maybe I'll get that + mobo instead :D
I'd be very interested! :D
Looks damn sweet

that is a sweet looking lan box but, is it worth £150?
considering it is only the case,
still looks good tho

Jeez, £150! Thats crazy!
Well, when you consider the price of shuttles these days it doesn't look too bad. The shuttles have been rising very steeply, most of the new models are well over £200 so its probably comparable once you add a motherboard. Got to say I do like the look of thecase. I'm not sure if the drives are stealthed though, they look like blanking plates to me?
Big Adam

Yep, blanking plates......just like PC cases SHOULD have! :)

I have this case in for review at the moment, I am gob smacked at how good this case is. Its well thought out except for the rear fan obstructing the blanking plates on the expansion slots. I'll try and do some photos later,if I don't, remind me!
Silverstone has paired ours up with a titanium coloured Silverstone PSU ST46F with 120 mm fan which works well with this case.

Oh and thankgod they finally sent me a silver case because black ones are gawddd awful to photo.

As for the price, once I've added a decent 939 motherboard (about £55 ish for the model I selected) and a PSU (we'll say £50) its still alot cheaper than a PCI express enabled 939 shuttle.
Anyone ever seen a SLI MATX board?

One thing I'm interested in PJ is PSU cable management.
If I bought this case, I'd be seriously tempted to splice my cables down to size but would be aware that this would make the PSU worthless as the demand for power supplies with 6" cables is non-existent!
For those not willing to to take a knife to their cables, I'd like to know what provision there is to tuck everything out of the way.
Have Silverstone recommended a HSF to you? Understand that there is a 78mm (IIRC) height limit.......takes me back to the days of the CM-500 :)

There is some provision for hiding cables including the main supporting strut running along the top of the case which handily heads over the 5.25inch drive bays which the twin 3.5 inch drive bays underneath those. The 3.5 inch drive bays also have their own cooling fan. The right hand side of the case where the PCI/express/AGP cards sit is clutter free to allow for extremely good airflow. At the top of the this section coming off of the main supporting strut is a 60mm fan holder to exhaust graphics card hot air straight out of the top aswell out of the side vents. Another 60mm fan mount sits above the expansion slots. The fan cooling the drives is 80mm and such is the layout of the case the 120mm fan of the silverstone PSU could prove extremely handy.
Silverstone keeps using this CPU cooler on its press releases:
http://www.silverstonetek.com/products/nt03/34%20view/nt03.jpg
It certainly looks decent, will try and blag one to see if it fits with the whole cooling setup, for now I'm going to try some other third party coolers to see how they go. I'm paticuarly interested to see how the OEM cooler AMD supplies would cope in this setup as its size is ideal.
Photos to follow. Oh and if anyone thinks they've seen built quality in coolermaster cases, wait until you check out the construction of the front panel!

60mm fans!! How very 1990's! ;)
Does look quite special. Have to say that with such small internal volumes, a 120mm PSU will spit out any heat very rapidly.

If yoy look closely (or go here http://www.walibe.com/albums/album80/DSCF0335.jpg you can see four screw holes for what would have been a paddle fan and a small switch mount next to it. Don't know why that would have been there as it would disrupt cooling on PSUs like this.

You can see the scres obsurtucted by the fan there.

Just behind this sits another 60mm fan mount to vent heat from the graphics straight out of the top (handy for very hot TV tuner cards or graphics cards).

Here we see the 80mm fan which cools the removable 3.5 inch drives (secured with the two screws there). It also helps to cool the 5.25inch bays above, none of which become even warm to the touch unless being used intensley.
Note the molex pass through for the fan.
http://www.walibe.com/albums/album80/DSCF0342.sized.jpg
Shot from the other side showing alot of dead space behind the 3.5inch bays and under the 5.25inch bays. You could could stack more 3.5 inch drives here or remove the cage all together and have 6 drives sat underneath the 5.25inch bays. Another possibility is to place an 80mm fan here to aid airflow or even place a double 80mm radiator there.

Its gonnnnnaaa be a longggg night connecting these up. USB finally has a standard header but the audio cables are all individual for obvious reasons.

Graeme measure the case, the dimensions are wrong (I'm gonna point his out to silverstone too) and we can't work out why the combined figure for the PSU and optical drive is 355mm as theres way more room than that, paticuarly with the PSU recommended.

Any ideas on when the cooler will be in stock?
Do you think an XP90c will fit underneath the PSU? ( I doubt it very much, but hey :P )
