its unlikely this is going to happen in the near future - if you want the other parts you will need to order by cheque or by visiting the shop... it sounds unfair, unfortunately its totally outwith our control :(
How is it out of your control?
I don't quite see how you can sell some things and not others.
It's a bit of a bummer for me, as living in Cambridge, popping into the shop is a tad difficult...

We don't have enough trading history as yet to justify ourselves, and there is a lot of investment involved. And besides, most of the 'other' stuff is available elsewhere - I'm not sure if people would buy mobos / cpus etc from kustom when they are available elsewhere at cheaper prices... I'm not trying to say that cheekily, it's just my perception of how it would work out..
I thought that seeing as you sell other bits anyway, it wouldn't be any more hassle to make them available for online ordering. If it's not that easy, then fair enough.
Personally, I'd much rather order from somewhere I've ordered from before and trust, even if it works out a few quid more expensive.
I've seen a couple of things on your price list (which, by the way, doesn't display too well on IE5) which I'd like to order, but aren't on your online list.
I could presumably pick up the phone and order with a credit card, but that's too much hassle. ;)
I dont think the public is aware of how much power the credit card companies have, They determine what items of your stock you can sell online or through their network, and also how long they will hold your money to clear, making it near impossible for the smaller business to compete on a level playing field. I feel sorry for Graeme and Thomas knowing that the LAST thing any shop owner wants to do is to limit their customers in any way.
Blame the Banks and Credit card companies, they charge You AND Kustom then have the cheek to call themselves a "service".

actually, we can't take c/c over the phone - only in the shop front. Again, being able to accept credit cards over the phone requires a 'customer not present' account, which we don't have as yet. We are looking at applying soon, but unfortunately it's a process that costs thousands of pounds and involves a lot of paper work and accounting stuff. A lot of people order from us by cheque or bank transfer, and this when organised correctly will be just as quick as a web order... Check 'rate our service' for evidence of that.
Watch this space, hopefully we'll have more facilities in the future.

There are plenty of places in Cambridge that sell PC Components at very low cost prices!!!! Obviously not Case Modding equipment but everythign else basically.
I live in Huntingdon so I know that for a fact :D :D :D

depends what you're after really... We sell a really good range of stuff, and a lot of the PC components can't be found in many shops... I think there is a demand for the other parts (I'm saying this because of the number of calls in the past week of people asking to place orders over the phone!) for things like silver or black monitors / drives and things like that...
We may be able to start selling other parts in the future, but I doubt that mobos and CPUs will be on the cards , we'll still focus along the line of 'selling what everyone else doesn't have' ! watch this space...
I cant stress how good the people at Kustom are at customer service.
I have recomnded Kustom to may friends and they have all said the same.
One of my friends got a case, unfortunatly the front was cracked, so 1 phonecall to kustom and they said just return the front and we will replace it!!!!
Most places would want you to take your mobo and gear out and return the whole thing.. Not only that the delivery on all the parts are QUICK!!!!
Keep it up

This is definetly something I'd be interested in, I want to buy a DVD drive in black, and it would be really easy to order them at the same time as my new case!

dvd drives in black are non existent at the moment, but we have a trick up our sleeve ... white models are everywhere just now, and we have sourced a stock of black bezels for pioneer slot loader drives. they will be added to the site over the weekend ! works out cheaper than buying a normal black drive too :)

Coool! Will these be available to buy online?
Sweet idea.
Nice 1 i dont understand why they can charge 15-20 quid more for a black front on DVD drives....
Its unfortunte that Kustom cannot add things to their system but thats tottally out of their hands :( I have dealt with them on more than one occasion and got top notch service , popping a cheque in the post isnt hard , they dont screw you over honest . They do a lot of kit on the pirce list including macs as well !
They take lots of time to answer all your enquires even if they are a bit obsqure (Aint that true Graeme ;) )
