Hi all,

finally got round to ordering the parts for the new pc. Do you reckon it will be fine for gaming? I hope so, it had to be done on a budget, and it's my first 'virgin' build!!

Athlon 64 3000 'venice'
1gig Corsair 'value' Ram
Sapphire x800xl 'ultimate'
Gigabyte GA-K8N-F9 mobo
Antec Sonata II with 450W truepower psu
200gb seagate barracuda 7200.
Lite-on dvdrw dual layer
Akasa ak913 cpu cooler
Benq FP71E tft

Any comments would be greatfully recieved.

That's a pretty decent setup for a "budget" system, and with those components ^^^^... it won't have any problem whatsoever playing games for the foreseeable future ;)

Looks sweet. The only thing you might possible wanna do is get the 3200+ if ya can afford it - if you ever OC it will serve you well with the 10x Multi :D
