its ok to post competitor names/links, as long as its not constant. we`re not so paranoid that we get upset when we see a competitors url in our forum - this is a free place for ppl to express themself , so as long as there`s no abusive stuff (which will be removed) we`re happy !

As for the etches, we`re not going to do anything which has already been done , so all the tek ones are out of the question.

Not non-oppressive just sane and cool. I get fed up with all this competition stuff. Bickering between shops just makes me not want to buy from any of them. Kustom guys are great some prices a little high but worth it for the amount of effort they put in and how they are willing to put themselves out to help. Im spreading the word to all i know...just dont get big headed and loose touch with the gound :)

As for suggestions on products...Ratpadz are a deff must (not giving overclockers another penny, bloody shipping costs £5 for a mouse mat) also would love a decent window kit/kits. Maybe a make it up kit like the pc's... pick a wondow/etch/neon etc for a set price.

bickering doesn`t get anyone anywhere - I`ve seen a lot of this happening lately, and generally the attitude of some of the people in this industry is crazy...

I know one or two of our products are over priced (Plextor CD-RWs, Graphics cards and CPUs are the only bits that spring to mind) - but we don`t aim to sell those separately, they`re only there to be integrated into systems, hence they are usually `one off`s` and have a higher price.

And like you say, sometimes service matters more than price. :)

We`ll have ratpadz within the next fortnight, but we`ll not advertise them on the site , we don`t want to upset the current UK reseller for them . To be honest, we`re just buying a batch from pcmods, because kyle would not sell them due to there already being a UK disti for them...

Will probably sell for about £15 inc delivery.

We`re also going to make our own window kits, we want to make a design that will fit the antec cases properly, as the pcmods ones are no use for that - we need something that will fit around the handle on the side of the case, so watch this space for more info.

I've always found the best place to buy is from someone who is really interested in the products he sells, and can tell you the inns and outs that help to make you satisfied with a purchase. Most retailers have to "push" the large amounts of stock they have to buy to give the lower price, not discuss your needs and wants. After more than thirty years of "modding" everything I could get my hands on, I find its worth a few bob more to buy stuff from a place that shares your enthusiasm. :)

If the drives are in the front, then the window would be on its right side, so wouldn't it be a "starboard" window?

:D :D

Oh and while i think about it..can u get smaller window rubber? The standard stuff seems so wide and looks ugly.

the pcmods stuff is quite fine - the only rubber that i ever saw to be a bit chunky, was the old stuff that coolcasemods had, but the rubber they are using now looks fine... we`ll look at getting some of the self-sealing caseetc stuff in the future
