Currently the best SocketA heatsink out there is the Swiftech MC462 (http://www.swiftnets.com/MC462.htm) (see review (http://www.overclockers.com/articles347/index02.asp)), however, it's quite expensive, uses a loud 80mm fan (45db-A) and doesn't fit all motherboards.

The Millennium Glaciator on the otherhand, is cheaper, quieter (38db-A), fits all SocketA motherboards and has performance equal to the MC462.

.18C/W Sink to Air - This is a bench test with a simulated heat source on a 9X11 mm die.

Fan - AddA 2 Ball evercool Rated @ 29 CFM free flow. MTBF is 50,000 hrs. 2.88 W 6000 RPM +/- 10% . 38 dBA

Heat sink - 99.99 pure copper @ 385 W/m-K., Weight is 780 grams.
