Hello... Just wondering if it comes with the Silicon Graphics MultiLink Adapter so you can plug it into any DVI or VGA source?

I dont want to dump my Geforce 2 ultra just yet :D

The multilink adapter is an option , and so doesn`t come with the unit...

Ouch! That makes it really expensive as the MultiLink Adapter is £400+

Never mind ill just have to get it from elsewhere :(

In future I really would suggest putting on your website that you need a MultiLink Adapter box in order to use the SGI 1600SW on any standard computer.

Thanks Anyway!

I don't think you understand, Kevo - if the multilink adapter is an SGI option, you will ALWAYS pay extra for it wherever you buy it from - at least that is my experience with various companies - 'option' just means 'add-on' - for example, a second laptop battery is usually an 'option', meaning you have the option to pay extra to get one, not that it is optional whether the retailer bundles one with the laptop!!!

Its just that I can get the monitor and multilink for £1300 (ex VAT) from another place :)

Btw Has anyone seen Quake3 running on it ??
