View Full Version : Replacement quiet MATX PSU for HTPC

I have a Sparkle ESP200-50SNV 200W MATX PSU which isn't too bad on the noise side but I would like to improve it as i can clearly hear it across the room with the TV off.

Can anyone recommend a quiet alternative or have any experience with the Seasonic MicroATX / SFX 250w PSU - see http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_1726.html

The Seasonic is about as quiet as it gets in the mATX format.

I've also heard good things about the Silenx models but haven't actualy experienced them.

I'd go with the Seasonic.
