Don’t think the prosecutors could have done a poorer job with the witnesses if the defence team was picking them for em
I didnt think he did it....he is abit crazy though. I think he is just trying to make up for his childhood with his themepark n stuff.

The optimist in me says, "well there you go, he didnt do it, the courts found that so its most likely true, hes just a wierd guy who likes young boys."
The cynic says "as if he was going to get sent down, he's too rich and famous to be sent down in America for any length of time, he wouldnt have let it happen!"

been watching this on Fox news tonight!
there was a great Fox'ism:
"The jury didn't find him innocent. They just found him not Guilty"
Solitaire']"The jury didn't find him innocent. They just found him not Guilty"
And that's the whole point of the British/British derived model of justice - a person is innocent until proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt. Frankly, from what I've seen of the trial the only evidence that meant anything was a single fingerprint - that's hardly beyond reasonable doubt.
I think he probably did it and is probably in need of some serious mental help, but it wasn't proven so he's an innocent man.
oooo..... He got off.
According to the Jury, he didn't.
The Special Room will be re-opening for business shortly...

The beauty of Jackson was the ability to cross the boundaries of musical taste regardless of what they were. His best works were considered 'must have's' in any discerning music buyers collection. I think this will have damaged that. Also musical tastes have changed and one commentator commented on that fact that popular Black American music is predominantly rap and Jackson no longer fits. He will struggle to make a musical comeback.
His most valuable asset has not been his talent for a long time. He makes a lot more from rights to other peoples music, especially the Beatles back catalogue. This has been 50% mortgaged to Sony and Jackson will move heaven and earth to pay the mortgage, as this is more valuable than anything else he possesses.
I will close by saying I did not think he was proven guilty by any means by the prosecution. In fact I think the case was very weak and probably only went ahead because of political and media pressure. The biggest weakness of the case was the Arviso family themselves. I do however seriously question Jackson’s judgement or motives because every other celebrity approached by this questionable family saw enough wrong to distance themselves physically even if they did offer some assistance when requested. Jackson did exactly the opposite.

I heard last night on the news! Brought a smile to my face. Never thought he was guilty, but in the back of his mind there still must be the $200+ million debt he has. I had a thought though! If he released another album or something along those lines, do you not think that would raise a fair amount to help clear that...?

He owns the rights to the majority of all Lennon/McCartney songs which were originally valued at something like $2OO. McCartney and Jackson apparently fell out over the sale of them years ago.
Apart from that I don't for one second believe any of this crap about him being short of dosh.....even after his lawyer fees etc. Peanuts.[to him]
I agree with the last post re his guilt or innocence.

There was a better BBC-ism the other day. They quoted someone as saying "Not only were they growing cannabis... they are also criminals".

Can't put a price on freedom! :p
The prosecution were extremely unprofessional and many think they botched the case. The DA is reckoned to have had a personal vendetta against Jackson. Imagine being the man who put jacko away - write up your memoirs and retire to a small island with the proceeds!
I think Jacko's money problems come from the fact that, like many have said, he's just a kid. No doubt being surrounded by a lot of hired "yes men" won't have helped. Seems to me he needs someone to give him some normal perspective. Give me a salary on, say £250k and i'll do it. Strictly business and not pleasure though, before any of you filthy oiks suggest otherwise :p
