help file type

i got a virues that missed up files it was called sysnrj any way this program i d/led fixed it no more virue BUT i cant open any thing it does not know what program to use to open stuff it does not know what exe is :confused: lot of thing will not work askes me to select a program to use i cant get into most stuff to try and fix it plz help.

bit confusing, but if you need to fix file types it's start > programs > windows explorer, then once it's open, view folder options, then there's the 3rd tab file types, look there and change what you need.

that does not help tryed that but it cant find what program to use to open files so is there any way to reset file type all back to default

reinstalling windows i suppose would work.
