Hi,

RE. shuttle sb95p noise.

Can anyone recommend an alternative cpu cooler, I didn't really want to start cutting holes and stuff was looking to simply fit something in place of the original but more effective, idle noise is exceptable but under load it gets quite noisey, I am running a 3.8 prescott, thanks for an suggestions.

The ICE cooler in Shuttles is pretty much as good as it gets from a performance point of view due to the fact any heat generated is expelled straight out of the case. The vast majority of Shuttle users have stuck with the original cooler but modded fans and used various methods of altering the cooling profile to get the result they are after. Your problem lies primarily in the fact that the P chassis is too new for there to be a huge number of workable mods for you to use as inspiration.
