As the subject tells you this is my setup. But after about a month the system still doesnt work :( Ive been going out of my mind. But basically when I turn on the machine it does 1 looonng beep & turns off & I dont get anything from the monitor. Ive been told that this is due to the FOC (Fan Off Control) which thinks that the Fan isn't turning quick enough to cool the processor (which isnt hot at bootup anyway) & turns the PC off to save the CPU. However there is a way to bypass this by holding down the Insert key during boot & this SHOULD get past this problem. Bu when I do this the computer just sits there I cant see anything. I was wondering if anyone has had similar problems with a similar setup. Ive also been told that the HSF may be busted. Any ideas Kustom????

not sure, I've got next to no experience with Soyo boards. Do you have any case fans in your comp? Maybe worth trying connecting them to the CPU Fan header. I know that on the MSI board that we occasionally use, there is an updated BIOS available that allows the fan check to be disabled.
Maybe someone else can help in here?

DONT buy a Dragon + !!!!!!!!!!!!! Wait until the Ultra comes out. (about a month, Ive heard) I've also heard a load of horror stories about the Dragon + - check http://www.amdmb.com/vb/index.php then click on Soyo & U'll see. If I had known about the problems this board has I wouldve bought an MSI instead. But thats just my personal experience - you may get one & it works perfectly 1st time. I got mine from (sorry bout this kustom) Larbi consulting 02088136312 (I payed £10 for next day & had to wait 6!!!! GGGRRRRRR). But I now know you can get them from www.chillblast.co.uk. (http://www.chillblast.co.uk.) Oh well I'll keep on trying thanks for everyone's help & keep giving me ideas.

There really arent that many major problems on that message board....
