Hi can anyone help me about choosing the Razer Diamondback Or Logitech MX518 Gaming Mice any help would be great
Both have
-15G of Acceleration
-1600dpi
-Sensitivity Adjustment
-16-bit data
-5.8 megapixel/second image processing
-Extra Buttons
but then i hear that they go there own ways ( apparently ) ....
Logitech has extra compared to Razer ..
- More buttons
- More comfort and Grip then Razer (Argued)
- Extra buttons
- The Extra Buttons Easily configured To Games unlike Razer (Argued)
- Extra Buttons Usefully placed other then Razer's (Argued)
- Thumb Slot
Razer has extra compared to MX..
- The mouse buttons are more sensitive
- The mouse buttons are bigger
- Movement is very slightly more accurate (Argued)
- The Mouse is lighter
- Side Grips
- For both Right and Left handed unlike MX
(New Razer Diamondback **Plasma** is more accurate on a dark surface)
So i would like to know what people think ? which is the best the Razer or the MX ?? and which is more comfortable??? :)
1. Best??
2. Most Comfortable??
Thanks for The help :)

First of all... welcome to the forums ;)
Next... despite the number of views of this thread, I'd wager the reason you haven't received a response to this question before this one, are the number of similar threads there already are on the subject? Folks get fed up repeating themselves :D
Read the comments posted here (http://forums.kustompcs.co.uk/showthread.php?t=25099&highlight=Mice), here (http://forums.kustompcs.co.uk/showthread.php?t=23403&highlight=Mouse), here (http://forums.kustompcs.co.uk/showthread.php?t=23403&highlight=Mouse) +/or here (http://forums.kustompcs.co.uk/showthread.php?t=28914&highlight=Mouse) :)
You'll get a lot of good advice on the pros/cons of [various] mice in those threads.
As for which is the best... that's a very subjective question/answer, because we each have different preferences on size/shape/feel/responsiveness etc etc. The best way to find out/judge for yourself, is to see if you can find somewhere with both mice on display for testing purposes... else ye'll just have t' take yer chances with one or the other :D
FWIW: I personally prefer the look and feel of Logitech mice ;)

I prefer the Razer Diamondback, I spent most of the afternoon in Kustom trying to decide between those 2, and it boiled down to the way I hold the mouse, for instance, the logitech was more suited to people that shape their hand round the mouse, ie, their palm is touching the arch of the back of the mouse.
I found the razer more suited to me as I hold my mouse with my fingertips touching the tops of them, with my palm not touching the arch of the mouse.
Course, aslong as you have a decent mouse mat! (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_3134.html)

Ok thanks for the help the main problem i had was there is no shop anywhere near me stocking a Razer DB so i will never know which is most comfy
so i just wanted to know what the majority of people find most comfy :)
But thanks again...

ok looked at those threads and only 1 member actually had said one was better then the other and he said Razer was better but this was comparing it to MX510 not MX518
Also i have been talking around Unreal Tournament 60% of people have a MX510/518 and some razer users even say its better :)
and on a recent german poll the MX came tops at 55% and Razer 14% with the rest being other mouses
i think 55% of my decision will come down to comfort as there almost identical

Ive been looking at several of these mouse mats! (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/mousemats.html)
the Everglide seems to put me off.
For me its come down to
- QPAD
- ICEMAT v2
- Surface 1030 (http://func.net/)
- Razer ExactMAT

Ive been looking at several of these mouse mats!
Then I suggest you look at these (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/Kustom_PCs_Shop_Mouse_Mats_63.html) mouse mats instead
And as already advised... don't link to competitor sites, when Kustom sell a good range of similar product(s) themselves!
