read a thread about how Norton Utils tends to cause more problems than it fixes. Well I will agree 100%. I had it installed (Utils 2002) on my 2K build and here are the problems I found:
Stupid levels of drive fragmentation, I would use speed disk and within a day the drive was back to 70% optimisation!!!
Also found that Speeddisk was complaining that it's dll was not compatable with my version of windows....hmmmm i was using the 2002 version and running win 2k SP2.
All i can say is i am glad it was a ripped copy as if i'd paid for that pile of crap i would have been looking for peter norton with a view to punching him in the head!
