El inverter

Have i got a faulty inverter here, as my el string is v.dim, there is only 60 volts coming out of the inverter tis supposed to supply 100 volts according to the label

it is only powering 18 inches of string and the sensor window was covered when i tested it eith my volt meter

is it possibly connected to 5v line of psu instead of 12v?

Make sure the red wire on the inverter is connected to the yellow on the power line, and the black to the black immediatly next to it.
