El Wire

Hi,

My modded case (Antex SX1030b) arrived today from Kustom PCs arrived today and its great - I am very pleased with it and everyone who sees it is suitably impressed :)

I also ordered some ready-made blue El wire with inverter etc at the same time and I've got a little problem with it in that sometimes it doesnt come on - I have to wiggle it about and then it will come on. Any ideas where I should start looking for the loose connection ?

Hi Lando,
The first place to check for the break is the seal where the invertor connects to the el wire, there are 2 wires in there which are only microns thick, and if the wire is bent in this region after it's been set it can sometimes cause the connection to come loose, try making sure the connection is straight, if the wire works like this try securing it to the case to keep it straight, if the connection is still touchy send the offending item back and I'll re-wire it for you. 8)
