Couple of questions...

1 - suitable for moving (safety wise) ? about 6 to 8 times a year... just read about tubing cracking and not moving it while frozen... would leaving it an hourr or two before moving it be ok ?

2 - would tubing need inslating ?

3 - do blocks need insulating like pelts ?

4 - is it ok to chill cpu, gpu, nb and what would likely temps be ?

5 - i guess you replace the rad with the chiller - yes ?

all questions refer to something about this spec
Chiller (http://www.over-clock.com/ivb/index.php?showtopic=10609&st=0)

Cheers - sorry to seem n00bish....

Already have a water loop which i would use.

TDX CPU, Maze4 GPU, Custom NB block, DD 12v pump, t-line

PS - if mods think the forum link above is unacceptable, feel free to remove it... hope its ok though :o

Hello m8 :D

1) only if you use some sort of a custom made phase change cooler (chiller) inside a box or something.

2) tubes need insulation

3) all blocks need insulation and the motherboard (make sure to do good job there, a tiny form of condensation might kill something, so better be sure that good job is done on the insulation.

4) of course it is ok... temps... well, depends the chiller setup vga/cpu/chipset. In this case, if you going to use that bar chiller is not going to work that good. Prolly temps will be around the 0 mark, but still the construction of that water-cooler machines are just not "proper" for water chillin in combination with pc use (imo).

5) there is no rad, there is only the phase change evaporator bit which is submerged inside a tank (reservoir) filled with anti-freeze ;)

Good luck,
B
