hi, i had the waterchill kit i didnt like it as the case i have is too small for it, so i might be seling that soon ! watch out and get yourself a great deal if im selling it
i came accross this though
http://thermaltake.com/watercooling/cl-w0005bigwater/cl-w0005.htm
now i have the thermatake tsunami case and this would just bolt straight in, no modification needed and the rad would be seated perfectly on the 1200mm mount at the back.
now i can pick this up at trade price as i work in a computer shop, i will not list the price but lets say its considerably cheaper than the waterchill kits
just wanted to kno if you think its worth the very little ammount of money that it is

If the kit you had was a single 120mm rad then yes it will be worth the money, i found both kits to work identicaly although the tubing is smaller on the thermaltake. (if you are on socket A dont use the clip its not that good and dampens the performance of the kit quite a fair bit)

no i had the waterchill dual 80mm system, but wasnt enough room in my case
im using skt 754 til my new parts arrive but even then they can sit there whilst i wait for the gainward 6800 sli :p
so is the thermaltake good then ? i mean its v easy to install ide get that and then buy one of these artics for the graphics card

What sort of temps were you getting with the dual rad as really a 2x80mm should be on par with a 120mm rad really.
its a shame to buy a whole kit to replace it when you could just buy a radiator :) the fittings from your current rad should work (im not saying the thermaltake is bad) it just seems a waste of money when all you really nead is a rad

i was getting around 40 idle i get 44 with standard cooling at the moment, the waterchill kit was just too big i found for my case i could hardly move in it, im always changing components and just seemed to be in the way, like i said i can get the thermaltake at TRADE price, alot cheper than the RRP hence y i wanted advice :)

just buy a 120mm rad, the kit will fit in then i used to have a 120mm rad kit setup in the tsunami a while back with no probs. and reviewing i change components a hell of a lot

well thats the downside the res is the refill bottle. the reviewer with the kit doesnt use it himself. he just does the same as he done when it has to be installed.youll understand when you see the instructions.
he got all the accesories for it not so long ago here are the photos from that review

With the GPU block he got his FX5950 up to 550MHz gpu which is pretty impressive

looks gimmicky to me
get a REAL kit man... or just use good aircooling, that kit probably wont be any better than an xp120 and a akasa quiet fan  if it is, it will be very marginal
Youv made me want water cooling now :p

Make your own set up mate. You'll be very dissapointed with a ThermalTake setup than a real one with real components!

I installed a bigwater setup in my thermaltake armour case, easy peasy, you get an external res so you don't need to open your case up for refills. I have since modded the bigwater with a "Waterchill RDT02 DUAL 120mm Radiator Black Ice II " from Kustom. temps are now sitting at around 28-30 idle and 34-35 load. I would say that is not bad for a cheap system.

i dont use ths kit myself but you shouldn't really slam somthing you havn't tried, the only problem with the kit is if it is mouted using the clip on socket A instead. Vman our other review is using this kit and with his 2500 barton @ 2.3 and gpu up to 550 from a single rad kit is pretty impressive to me.
yep air would do that :P
yes some of thermaltakes products can be a bit gimmicy, but this kit does what it says on the box and thats what matters :(
yes we gather your not fans of thermaltake but trust me when i tell you a lot of people are (site hits indicate this) not everyone has the same taste and if we did what a boring world this would be :p
