what the hells happened to enterprise....they've change the intro, the crew has new uniforms...tapals showing her waist, has long hair and makeup and captain archer has lost his soft touch. archers dog has also changed breed. have i missed something, surely they wouldnt make such drastic changes in the middle of a series ?

Hi, After flicking through 4x18 and the fact the name of that episode is called "In a Mirror, Darkly" I would say that it is an alternative reality.

I am fairly sure that it is a one off look, probably just the writers etc having a bit of fun. You see this sort of thing happen sometimes in Sci-Fi.

the series ends FOREVER with s4e22 in may so they are just screwing around with mad story lines. i quite liked it.

I was disappointed when I heard it was to be cancelled as I liked enterprise as well.

I must have different tastes to sci-fi than the norm as the Sci-Fi’s I like seem to get cancelled, for e.g. Firefly.

Rick Berman and Brandon Braga are becomming leapure amoung studio execs and fans alike!! they single handedly ran the star trek franchise in to the ground, with terrible scripts and management! if those 2 are booted off of the Star Trek Franchise for good and given a restraning order to stay 1000yds from any star treck script, idea or program then it might make a come back in a few years and be popular with the masses again,

look at battlestar galactica! a few of the the best Trek script writers write for that show now!! know you know what Enterprise could have been like if those 2 weren't involved!!!

I can not wait for the firefly movie.

Im a big fan of firefly and was really disappointed that they cancelled it.
It was easily the funniest sci-fi I have watched.
I just hope that they actually show it in cinemas unlike the farscape and battlestar galactica movies that were only realised on dvd and tv over here.

Oh yea, also the best and funniest episodes were the prostitutes one and the steeling of the gun (can not remember the names of the episodes as never seem to be able to remember names)

i really liked this episode

took a wee while for the penny to drop that it was a mirror universe
had to remember some previous trek episodes for it to make sense :)
Mirror, Mirror from TOS and although i never really watched DS9 - i belive there was a few mirror eps in there as well.

Was also kewl to see the tholian web - which goes back to the tholian web episode of TOS which involved the defiant moving between the two universes - hmm now this ep helps explain what happened to it.

was kinda kewl to see a TOS style defiant on enterprise as well.
