Hello

I was wondering if someone had a messer case than mine. So please post you pictures of your messy case for us all to see ;)

I'll start

I just picked up two extra lighted fans and two cahodes from the local modding shop, put them into my rig, and well, this is what happened

just wondering what the point is in having the cathode lights in the case, when your not using a window?

(im assuming your not using a window due to the mess inside ;) )

above link doesnt work

untidy case = bad airflow which ultimately leads to bad air flow, higher temps and loss in performance :p

Even if they did.... there're not many on the Kustom PC's forums who'd admit it

Yep... I reckon my 6 year old niece could almost certainly do "better"

She could hardly do any worse, that's fer sure :p

Sorry, but you don't even come close to winning, and that's a good thing.

Euphoria, I leave my case like that because I'm very lazy.

mr-white, the temps in my case are really low. My overclocked AMD 3000+ runs at 30c on a stock cooler after a few hours of games and the case is 25c with isn't too bad.

Sub and Jinty, I don't think you've got as much mess as me.

I suggest that your temp sensors are wrong, there is no way that a stock cooler can keep an overclocked CPU at load (i.e., playing games) 5°C above case temp.

Mobo sensors are notoriously unreliable so I wouldn't put much credence by them. Think about the physics and read some reviews about the stock cooler and you'll see what I mean.

Why would anyone buy these (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/Kustom_PCs_Shop_CPU_Performance_Coolers_75.html) if they were all outperformed by the stock HS?

I have both BIOS and my fan controller/temp sensor giving me the same read-outs, so I'm quite sure that my temps are in that kind of region.
