No, Its a sin to reproduce that song so badly like they did. Have got rid of lots of bits, sped it up. What are people's opinion on it?

Got a link? The original's a classic, so if they've done something wrong to it...

Can't say I ever honestly liked the original, so no, don't even like G4's version either :p

 WHAT?! Someone who doesn't like Bohemian Rhapsody - I never thought I'd see the day!

I just heard G4s version of "Cry Me A River" and I prefer it to Justin Timberlake's.

justin timberlake didn't even sing the proper version of cry me a river anyway...

the proper one was done by Julie London

G4 should be beaten to a PULP, i cant stand them, and when you watch them singing, you just want to assault them.

Oh and there version is pap!

Short video clip there. As much as I don't like manufactured boy bands, the lad can sing.

Cheers,
Stephen

Maybe they 'can sing', but it doesn't mean they sing good things. Just heard Cry Me A River by them, and it was very... different.

Hey, I never said I liked what he was singing. ;) Only the original is worth hearing and should NOT be tampered with.

*edit* Noooooooooooooooooo! What have they done to Everybody Hurts  That is just wrong

There's a difference between recognising talent and liking it. Any links to their version of Cry Me a River?

Cheers,
Stephen

Can't quite imagine the blue hair rinse brigade going for Queen remakes. I wouldn't be suprised if their chart position was a result of airplay and pre-sales alone.

If all goes well, they'll soon disapear of the radar - only to be dug up at Christmas for a Kings Singers soundalikey Chrimbo Special.

Here's to hoping ;)

It's not them you should be complaining about it's the record company ;)

Record company execs will be first against the wall when the revolution comes :D

elvis is still topping the charts, which is more than current bands/artists can do, the old music is the good music, queen will never be beaten on the rock side, they were a great band, G4 should be shot for insulting them, g4 are a bunch of grammer school mummys boys who love to sing church music,

be gone with them !

If you watched the x factor then they didnt just crucify bohemian rhapsody.

They managed to take radioheads creep and make a version devoid of any emotion. When thom yorke sings it he sounds in pain they trie dto make it a happy song

They also took You`ll never walk alone which as a liverpool fan gives me goosebumps when I hear it But there version made me want to vomit.

People are going on about how they are different. Sorry but il divo where doing operatic pop songs a couple of months back and doing it better.

I just heard G4s version of "Cry Me A River" and I prefer it to Justin Timberlake's.

I've noticed that the second track on the CD is "Everybody Hurts".

Is this the same song that is on the Roger Taylor album "Happiness" called "Everybody Hurts Sometime" or is it the R.E.M song from the "Automatic for the People" album called "Everybody Hurts"?

It's the REM song. And after hearing what G4 did to it, I'm sure everybody does hurt.

when I saw them on X factor I just thought they were singing the wrong songs. There is plenty of vocal talent but they need to get the song choice sorted out. I both love and hate the radiohead song creep I'll spare you my resons for doing so but when I heard their version of it it didnt affect me at all... it's pretty good for a cover but really they should sing big songs to take advantage of the fact that they have big voices.

I havent heard the relese version of bohemian rhapsody but when they did it on X factor I just thought that'll be bloody good if brian may plays along with them but he hasnt so it's only bearable.

I, as a rather large queen fan, safter seeing and hearing what *those* people (G4 *shudder*) have done to one of my all time favourite tracks, feel it is my duty to lead the assassination of said people.

If you wish to partake in this mission that i am settin up please feel free to PM me for email me.
