ok here's a wee challenge for you (bored members) out there...

see who can price a 'reasonably' spec'd system and whoever gets the cheapest built can be crowned King Of El ' Cheapo

A few criterias must be met however...

1. must include VAT + Delivery*
3. must meet or exceed minimum spec
* CPU - 2ghz (true clock speed)
* Ram - 512
* HD - 40 gig
* GFX - 128MB *no on-board*
* Case - ATX *with PSU

now its just for a bit of fun, as Im gonna be building a cheapo system myself soon and I wanna see how low you can go!! dont wanna see links to other componant suppliers as this is a Kustom Pcs forum, but be honest in your build pricing as it easy to find out.


*Initially I restricted the sale to next day delivery, but this would be an unnessesary expence. the cheapest delivery allowed*

I get £209.. could be cheaper but the £15 case of slartis is outta stock.. so went for a £28 one.. oh and i chucked in a DVD drive.. alwayz useful! :D here's what i get..

It'll prolly shoot up to about 30-40 squids right near the end, they always do.
