Monitor prob

ive posted this on other forums but noone has had any ideas what the prob is but some one on here might, over the last couple of weeks ive noticed a wierd prob on my monitor im not sure how long its been like this as i may not have noticed it before but i do now, its hard to explain, at the end of text i can see very faint white bars about 2 r 3 of them (like this||| ) and im not sure why this is, the monitor is not that old about 5-6months its a 17inch CRT not sure what make it is think its an unbranded one, anyone have any ideas whats causing these faint white bars?

I occasionally see just the one | type line - usually underneath the last line of a sentence/paragraph.

I dunno what causes it, but it personally doesn't bother me, and the line doesn't actually show in anything printed off anyway, so it's no big deal ;)

Not much help I know, but at least you now know you're not the only one who sees 'em... so you're not going mad :D
