DirectSound Error

I'm getting a DirectSound error in my new Shuttle. I've installed the drivers from the CD and I got the error:

DirectSound output v2.2.10 error
Bad DirectSound driver. Please install proper drivers or select another device in configuration. Error code: 88780078

After some swift searching about on Google, I found it was a known issue and was advised to install the latest Realtek Audio drivers, which I promptly did to no avail. Anyone have any ideas?

I know this probably doesn't help, but I have literally just had the same problem in my shuttle....rebooted the pc and all is fine now.

All very odd....everything was working fine yesterday!

As far as any helpful advice goes, all that I would suggest you've already done :(...hopefully someone will come up with something better than my waffle :p
