View Full Version : Dual 120 rad
Anybody know what cases might handle a dual 120 radiatior ?
I was looking at the Yeong Yang 0221 cube just because it was different and theres a lot of things i could do modding it, but i also heard that a CM stacker can handle a 2x120 but have seen no pictures to prove it.
Ill be upgrading in the new year i think and have to get the purchace past the other half :) , the cpu etc. she will understand but not why i need a new case
cheers for your help
P.S. i have a midi dragon at the mo and so the pump and radiator are on the floor supported by 2 videos.
yep a YY cube can take 2x120mm rads... or a mountain mods case can take 3... erm dunno about the stacker.. i think it can

ViperVenoM have you ever seen any with the radiator at the bottom ?
or does anybody have any links to cases with a dual 120 radiator in them ?
just trying to make up my mind which way to go
cheers

i ave seen may setups with the dual rad at te bottom, all of them had one thing to say in general dont put it at te bottom unless your pc sits on a smooth surfice, realisticly it sould be at the bottom due to the fact the airs cooler down there
als get a akasa eclipse you wont regret it bags of space :)

i dont have a pic to hand but i do have the stacker and i was asked a while back to measure it to see if it would fit a 120.3 in at the bottom and it goes it no problems..so a 120.2 will easssy go in :)
Cheers for that :)
my rad with fans on top is ...3 1/2" high will that still clear the bottom of the motherboard (just incase i need to use the bottom slots for anything)
if you could measure the distance from the bottom of the case to the bottom of the board id appreciate it greatly

tis damn close coz theres a little grill that is raised up a little...from the top of the grill to the bottom of my board its exactly 3 1/2" if you removed the grill leaving a huge hole in the bottom (which will prob be a damn site better) that gives you just over 4" so touch and go but should fit in :)
Cheers :)
Ill be removing the grill so that i can fit some foam to isolate the radiator from the case so that should just squeeze in.
Perfect ViperVenoM you might just have made up my mind on what case to buy all i have to do now is decide what colour to get and to see if i can find a black one to confuse me even more

Yeh i was thinking that if i got the normal one i could put any colour i wanted in the case but if i get the blue i think any colour other than blue would look outa place
