Given that one is 30 quid cheaper, is there any good reason to get the 3400 over the 3200?

Presuming you're talking about Socket 754, I don't think there's much reason. I was drawn to the higher number ^___^ .

me too :D ..thought i would be able to overclock a 3400 to a higher speed then i could get the 3200 ...2640mhz...meh im waiting on a new bios

but nah..prob not worth it

754 since thats all that Kustom flog at that speed - presumably Newcastles then.

Wouldn't consider the upgrade, but since its someone else paying for it :)

Have you considered a 3000+ (£35 cheaper again)?
Most do 2.4GHz with some going quite a bit higher .

Sods law that I don't get a clockable one actually.... of course, if its a guarantee o/c, then assumin the rest of the system handles it (Antec Trupower 430), then I might as well?
