ARRRRRG!!!

never, ever let your girlfriend in the general area of your pc desk, let alone on the computer itself....


further to that, never leave a glass of water anywhere near said desk when said girlfriend is in the room - even if to all normal people it is tucked nicely out of the way and quite happilly sittign doing it's thing.


and lastly, make sure said girlfriend is wealthy enough to replace the wireless keyboard she consequently destroys....



i hope some here can learn from my above mistakes :mad:



but as an aside - Graeme, when can you get your hands on a Logitech DiNovo set?

Unlucky. however i thought this would have been a rant about women as a species. Which i think are more annoying, but thats only my current situation.

Oh well, at least there's an upside... if a slightly expensive one... but so are women.

my sis did the same thing a really old pc we had (it wasnt old back then) but she tipped a glass aaalll over the keyboard - we managed to scab a replacement from PC World by sayin that it did it itself :D

leave the key board in the airing cuboard with the batts out for a few days, and take it apart if possible, allways worked when my w/c leaked on my graphics card :p

DiNovos are like hen's teeth just now I'm afraid, sorry :(

They've been on backorder for a while now... apparently there's a revised model due out 'soon' though.
