neon `string` (looks mean around blowholes), heavy duty case handles and window etches - we`re going to get a few with our logo on them too, they`ll be on display on our demo rigs at the LAN at the weekend !

We`ll be showing off some cool games there too, like Black and white etc, give peeps a chance to try em out !

You should do custom cases as well, I have found it excessively difficult to get a qoute from any of the mod sites. I spent the money set aside on a case on other stuff instead, but a modded Lian Li PC-70 will be mine someday... and one of those Sony 19" silver monitors to match... mmmm

yes, we do modded cases to order ! We just don`t have any predefined specs like the other sites, but contact us and we`ll make a quote ! We`re getting a LOT of new case modding products over the next week including mesh filters, biohazard grills, black handles, neon string... and best of all PCmods cathodes !!!!

On top of that, we`ll have PC-70s v.soon ! and we can source the silver sony screens if you want them , at pretty good prices !

We`re currently using a 15" silver TFT with our demo LianLi system - click on the Lian Li PC60 in the case gallery to see a snippet of a pic !

Ho hum... well it will be in June then. I will be buying then, my student loan won't cover a further £400 on stuff (I'll buy that Sony monitor some other time).

I'm looking at
Lian Li PC-70
Enermax 550watt PSU
400mm round window tinted black fading to blue
blue cold cathode
black FDD
blue neon string around fans
blue LEDs on FDD and Case

Can you give me an estimate on that so I can work out costs?

Thanks

James

Lian Li PC-70`s will be abot £179 inc VAT
Don`t have Enermax PSU`s yet..
Round Window £36
(we haven`t looked at tinting yet, but that`s a neat idea, give us time on that one)
Cold Cathode (pre-prod) £49
Black Teac FDD £19
Neon String £26
Blue LED`s £10
Fitting £10

Total inc VAT (but no PSU) £329

and about £12 for shipping.

Enermax 550s cost about £117, so around £460 then you think? Sounds reasonable.

Well that should be ok, will be working throughout June on good pay and will be keeping all of it. Add the £200 I will have left from this term and I might even ask you to source that nice Sony monitor, :)

Thanks for that, got something to aim for now! When I have £460 in my bank account I will drop you a line.

Thanks, I will have a think what else I would like in it. Maybe a Digidoc painted black?

I would do it myself, but that probably wouldn't be wise knowing my history with DIY...

i've got that same problem, when i mentioned the idea of case modding, my dad locked up the tools for some reason

it`s not too tough , u just gotta learn on a few practise cases first :)

I look it this way, it`s always easier when it isn`t your own - it was like the first time I unlocked the bridges on a TBird using conductive paint, it was my own 850 that i`d just paid nearly 300 quid for the day b4 - that was shaky ! but when it`s a chip being modified for a comp we`re building - no probs ! :)

nope, i think i wont bother :)

I think you should talk to my long suffering technology teacher from way back in the day when I was a mere Yr7/8/9. He would advise against giving me a screwdriver... let alone a dremel, :D
