1.is this card good?
2.is it good for shuttles? (in particular the SN41G2)
3.why is it so much cheaper than say the XFX 6800GT?

1. Indications are yes...
2. 6800GT's have been used in Shuttles with no issues...
3. Probably because it is out of stock with a 7-14 day lead time. Keeps the orders coming in while they source more because folks are prepared to wait a little for what they hope is a bargain. Bet the price goes up for orders that come in while it is in stock (if ever!).
Though they are more relaxed here, the link is a bit naughty!

i was waiting for one of those cards until i heard about the fans on them,
they are supposed to be prone to sticking cause of the bearings used in them, unless they have improved the design from the american one by now

I had one b4 I returned it and got an ultra, was a good card, stock speeds are 400/1100 which is good.
Nvidia recommed 450w + psu so not sure how you would go on with it in a shuttle. It usually means 450w crap psu though.

i know sumone who has a 6800 GT and is running a athlon xp2800 and 1 gb of RAM i think, anyhoo he gets like 4500 on 3dmark05

btw if oyu order form that site its atless another £5 on the price for p&p. but if your willing to pay that much, £5 seems very little.
