currently running it on a new DFI motherboard that im reviewing for JSI Hardware (http://www.jsihardware.com) at the moment, usin the kt133a chipset, and the 1.2ghz chip was never locked in the first place, so no need to unlock it ;)
currently running folding@home for the stress testing part and it seems ok
time for more MHz methinks :D

Do you think Intel will bring back multiplier unlocking? They have expressed a desire to take back the enthusiast market and one of the main reason enthusiasts choose the Athlon can be unlocked.

Maybe it should have a speed dialled into it and when it runs beyond this speed Overclocked appears in the BIOS. Would stop unscrupulous dealers flogging systems beyond their normal clock rate to normal consumers.

If they only introduced it into their top range of Pentium 4 processors I suspect the custom they would gain (if they could sort the P4 out to be 50% faster, ;)!) would offset the cost of a few chips being sold cheaper.

Who knows...

I must agree with that.

Could you imagine how fast you could get a Northwood P4 running if you could break the multilier, :D
