Booted up my pc about 30 mins ago after getting in from work, get all the way to my desktop when it suddenly freezes, puzzled by this i hit the reset switch when it starts bee'ping at me (a 2sec long beep with a 2sec pause) after checking all the connections round the back and still getting the same beep i unplug it all and only leave the mobo, hardrive, cpu and Gfx connected, hit the power button and low and behold it boots up, BUT now i get the "MEE MAW MEE MAW" siren (which if i remember correctly is your cpu overheating, correct me if im wrong) i entered the bios straight away to find *GASP* a cpu temp of....35! ok humour asside guys what could be causing the siren to go off if my temps are fine? goes that siren also indicate another problem that i dont know?
Other things:
Mobo diagnostic LED shows that everything is fine
Both the bios and Uguru (pc monitoring tool) show fine cpu temps
My pc speaker has been emoved cos of the anoying siren.
