Here's My situation....

I recently tried to update my XP Home to XP Pro...and during the installation it crashed and wouldn't read my harddrive again. So, I went out and brought another hard drive and sucessfully installed XP Pro on it. I attached the old harddrive as a secondary, I can view it in my explorers and access it. The problem is that I can't access my "User" on my old hard drive, it keeps giving my an access denied...Is there anyway around this? How can I gain access to this folder? or do anyone have CIA Commander v.2?

if u mean u want access to your old account, login to old harddisk as Administrator and then remove the user account password

all XP Pro installs have a main user and admin account which would have been set by the installer of the software

You can probably gain full access from Safe Mode too, hit f8 just before the XP loading screen.

Then you can move the files about and re-start in normal mode...
