I'm looking for a reasonably quiet watercooling setup - size is not really an issue as you all know how big my case is - and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for manufacturers? Budget is about 70 quid tops before discount (review-discount basis) so i'll be okay for anything up to 50 or 60 quid.

Also, its just a duron 950, but I'll be upgrading soon (hopefully) - Is BE Cooling's kit okay?

Thanks :)

budget of 70 quid is seriously pushing it.. would need some major hunting or low-price stuff, right?? and that's if there are any that "low price"...

Well it could be done if you shop around. One of the less costly suppliers is BEcooling (http://becooling.safeshopper.com/6/cat6.htm?427).

You will be struggling for £70, SERIOUSLY!
I know how much it cost to put my system together and I can tell you it was around £400-500 althought the case was around £200 for the Tower. So, your looking at around £200 for a base system, but if your gonna water cool then u want to go the whole hog

My first watercooling setup cost me ahem £12.50 ;)
It consisted of washing machine (inline duh!) pump fitted with c(k)ustom made metal adapters to take in water from a chilled vat/tub whatever of water! ie a fridge (kind of!)this was then connected to my homebrewski alu waterblock which was covered in expanding foam :) to stop mositure and electricity hilarity!

not bad for £12.50
waterblock was made from an offcut
fridge thing from a skip!

not bad cely400 running at 620mhz!!
occasinally booting at 700mhz :)

good luck with home made approach

ps i use air cooling now :)for lan-o-fun
