Help!

I have just downloaded and set up MBM5 and as I said in Alan's post about system temps my pooter shows CPU temp at about 52deg constant (Epox 8K3A+ with XP1800) but MBM5 is saying that it is running @91deg and starts alarming straight away!

I have looked through the help file but it doesn't really say much about it. Am I doing something horribly wrong or is it something in the s/ware? Which temps are right?

Cheers

Oops

PS It is v5.1 of MBM5.

Check the about box. It should be 5.1.0.7 It may be that either MBM5 doesn't have sensor data about your mobo or you have not selected the correct sensors. Read the help file in MBM5 and follow its instructions for setting up - they work. In the meantime, check the BIOS PC Health check system to see what it is reporting. I have found the bios temperature to be reasonably accurate.
:D Also check that MBM 5 is set to report in degrees celcius!

Cool :D

I only had 5.1. Now downloaded 5.1.0.7 and selected the relevant sensors and it is showing the right temp, cheers for that (I had selected deg C before by the way).

I have also remedied the problem with the heatsing not sitting completely flat by allying a nice thin layer of Coolermaster therm comp and it is now running @ 30deg C at idle :D .

Anyways, cheers for the reply.
