Moving picture thing

hi i have noticed that some people below where there name is and there location they have a moving animation, can someone explain how i can get one

The moving picture of which you speak is called an avatar. It's actually an animated gif format picture. T' get one yerself, do a Google for 'Animated gifs' ;)

They have t' be a certain size t' use as an avatar on forums mind, but there are literally 1,000's out there t' choose from, and it ain't difficult t' find something suitable :)
