Hello everyone,

Welcome to another news update on what's new on our website !

Let's start with cases - as big brother to the popular V1000, we now have the Lian Li V2000 Full Tower chassis (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_1008.html) available for sale. We will have both midi and full tower models available in black towards the end of this month. In the meantime, we have the PC6070 (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_1009.html) low noise chassis available in anodised black finish. The HTPC (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/Kustom_PCs_Shop_HTPC_Cases_96.html)case section is busy this month, with the Accent HT400 cases (and optional VFD displays) being available, alongside the ultra compact Silverstone LC-05 'Piano' style cases. Also available from Silverstone this month are the TJ-05 (Silver (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_1238.html) or Black (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_1239.html)) midi towers which have a stylish aluminium front panel and neat internal layout. Some more pre-modded cases are now available including the fantastic value AeroCool X202 (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_1252.html)/X204 (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_1253.html) and JetMaster (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_1251.html) cases, along with the 'XClio (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_1247.html)' , which features a somewhat more subtle lighting system.

Power supplies come and go, but two new units that we just had to get are from OCZ and Antec. First up, the OCZ 470w PSU (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_1767.html)is designed to provide rock-solid output and is ideal for overclocked systems since it allows adjustment of individual voltage rails just to 'give it a bit more juice'. The Antec NeoPower (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_1774.html)is a gift to those who stress over cable management - it allows molex bundles to be removed or swapped as required to suit your system and so gives as much or as little as you need . The result is a system that is free from lots of spare cabling that has nowhere to go !

The new Sockets have descended upon us at last - we now have Socket 775 Intel CPUs (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/Intel.html), Asus Socket 775 (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/Kustom_PCs_Shop_Motherboards_ATX_49.html)motherboa rds, Shuttle's SB83 (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_1442.html)barebones for Socket 775. Suitable DDR2 memory (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/Kustom_PCs_Shop_Memory_42.html) and PCI Express (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/PCI_Express.html)graphics cards will be appearing online over the next week or so. For AMD, we have introduced the Asus A8V Deluxe Socket 939 (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_5564.html)motherboard and A64 3500 / 3800 (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/AMD.html)CPUs. Lower spec A64s are also stocked now, and this will replace the AthlonXP in our product range - AthlonXP CPUs will only be available while stocks last.

High end graphics cards (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/AGP.html) are becoming more readily available, and we can steadily provide ATI X800 Pro VIVO cards now. Gainward's range of GeForce 6800 cards are available but supplies on these are still limited - please email us if you would like to be notified as stock arrives again. We will be introducing more Corsair RAM to our product range over the forthcoming months, but to start things off we have stock of the XMS TwinX 4000 Pro (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_5241.html)modules, with DDR2 models to follow later this week.

Modding bits - the long awaited Bulgin Vandal Resistant switches (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_1998.html)are available now (check out this useful fitting guide at RaptorMods (http://www.raptor-mods.co.uk/index.php?review&id=816)) , along with some neat Chrome LED holders (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/Kustom_PCs_Shop_LEDs_104.html). These are ideal for custom built cases or to transform the switch panel on your existing case. Our range of acrylic fan grills (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/Kustom_PCs_Shop_Grills___Acrylic_79.html)are now also available in UV Blue and Green colours, and on a similar line we have two new colours of Techflex braid kits - pink (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_2481.html) and white (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_2499.html)!

Two new cooling products have been added, namely the Zalman ZM80D (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_2812.html)Dual Heatpipe VGA cooler and the 70 to 80 (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_3725.html)mm fan adapter, which will allow users with 70mm CPU heatsinks to use more readily available 80mm fans. Also, for the overclockers out there , we have OCZ DDR RAM Boosters (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_5242.html)which allow an extra boost to your memory voltage to gain an extra few Mhz !

In peripherals , we have two new mice - the Terratec Mamba (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_3160.html)which is a high precision gaming mouse, and the Illuminated Optical Mouse (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_3104.html), which has a two tone lighting to make it visible in the dark. The ultimate gadget this month would have to be with the Victorinix SwissBit Army Pen K (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_5482.html)nife which includes a 128mb USB Flash drive inside a high quality tool. There's two new networking bits too - the DLink Wireless Print Server (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_6739.html), allowing the use of a printer over a wireless network without a direct connection to any PC, and the Intellinet SOHO server (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_6738.html), which acts as a Router / Firewall and Fileserver in one box - just add a hard disk and you you have a fileserver available to all of your local network !

That's it for now, although as always there's more to come - we're planning a lot of neat new modding bits for later this month so check back soon !

That Silverstone TJ-05 looks a lot like the CoolerMaster WaveMaster...does it have the blue lights behind the thing at the front like the WaveMaster? :)

hiya all,

is it possible to get hold of the silver bezel for a pioneer A07-XL, or even better, the new writer A08-J-SV?

i have contacted pioneer directly and they seem to only sell these in Japan,

but the guy at pioneer said that he had talked to their marketing division and they don't seem to understand the amount of aluminium and silver modded cases on the market at the moment, so they decided not to sell the A08-J-SV in Europe or the west.

I have however seen some sites on google that mention an A08-XLC but, i am not sure what that is, any ideas?

thanks.
