i cant get broadband where i live (i am very p**sed off about this) but my mate just down the road (about 500yd) away can get broadband through something called freqency broadband! does any1 know about this?
havent a clue. if you go out of your house, and walk about 500 yds and ask your m8, surely he must be able to tell you a little about it? google turns up nothing much.
Are you sure it's not Rate Adaptive ADSL?

Are you sure this isnt Low-Frequency broadband? I.e. radio broadband.

Hi,
Its generally cheaper / same a ADSL not counting the hardware involved though (most do rentals).
Also benefit from higher speeds both upload and download.
As for providers it depends where you are?
As for wolverhampton you could ask you mate to find out what he is one?
