hi, new eih,

the most common way is with heatsinks and fans, have a look around the kustom pc's website and you will find a good selection of fans for the case and the processors etc, need more help then feel free to ask.

By using case fans the air insode the case is circulated and constantly kept the same temp as the room the CP is in (like air conditioning in a car). The more case fans the closer to the room temp the case temp remains. Most cases only have an exhaust fan at the back to blow hot air out. This suffices for lost spec machines or most Intel systems. AMD systems often require 1 or 2 more case fans, either one at the front or the side. My case has 5 fans which cycle the entire case's air every 3-5 seconds, thus keeping it cool.
A good Heatsink and Fan is needed to cool the CPU. The Thermoengine is a good one.

PSUs....if you are making an AMD system with a CPU faster than 1Ghz get a 400W PSU. My system runs on a 300W PSU and I have had to unplug my DVD drive and lower my overclock otherwise it crashes every hour or so. If you are making an Intel system a 300W usually suffices unless you get alot of hard drives or CD drives.
