PCmark hdd score....

I was thinking my drive scored really low with only 700+ in PCMark2002. I really have no idea on good scores for the hdd but my ram was in the 7000s.

The hdd is a maxtor ATA133 80GB and i couldnt even tell you the cache :rolleyes: , all i know is my pc has been very slow lately :(

well the primary reason behind your drive running slowly i think could be spyware. Another likely reason is that your hard drive is reaching full capicity. Once this happens data access and data writing will slow right down. I found out when my 40 gig drive grounded to a halt ;)

Nah theres no spyware and its only used 25gig of 80. I thought it was a bit fooked ne way thats y i was askin if its a crap score or not.

Whats the average for a 7200rpm on pcmark ?

ok i need to benchmark my pc but the trails are crap. Can u tell me where to get full versions from?
