Swift tech mc462

Has anyone installed this new swiftech mc462 heatsink i was thinkin of gettin one until i saw the fitting instructions,the fact it has to be bolted to the mobo,im not keen on trying this,any advice would be welcome on this. :confused:

I think this is like the Zaltan HSF - it needs four posts for the fixing screws. It is very good for fitting a large HSF to a CPU without risk of ripping the mobo to bits, fighting with the traditional fixings. Only Pentium 4 mobos and some Athlon Thunderbird boards have these holes. They can't be fitted to PIII or other CPU type mobos.
If you don't have four holes around your CPU socket, you can't use it.
