Damn, that's me out. I've got a gig tbird idling at it's oficial speed ATM, 0% for me!!!
I can get this Celeron 400 running 20% faster, a good 80MHz O/C on an Intel 440LX Motherboard (using SoftFSB), but I tend not to run it for too long!
Pushes AGP to 80MHz, PCI to 40MHz and CAS2 66MHz SDRAM to 80MHz.

I have an Athlon 1GHz running stable at 1.4Ghz no problems.
I would get it more if i had a better motherboard. I have the older A7V, with the kt133 chipset (not the 'a' one), which is supposed to only run at 100Mhz (DDR), but i have got it at 112Mhz x 12.5 = 1400MHZ
so 40%

My Celeron 400`s run at different speeds all the time - right now they seem happy at 570 (42.5% increase), though they used to run at 600 rock solid (50%) increase. Don`t know why they won`t run as fast now. Cooling is nothing fancy , just a pair of GlobalWin FOP32-Ms. My old rig was an Athlon 850 o/c`ed to a gig, whch was only a 17.5% increase, but meant I had a four figure mhz rating, and 1000mhz amd`s cost 600 quid!!! then :)
well, i'm running at 750, on a 750, so it's 0% and i'm happy atm :)

I'm running a Duron 800 at 1010, so I suppose that doesn't get me the prize for oc'ing.
Whatever I try on the Duron it just isn't stable above 1GHz, I've loads've cooling, it just loves sitting at the 1G though, so I can't complain.
Dai
Well, I have a 750 running at 1020, so that's a little over 40%.. not too shabby :)

Well I used to have my celery 400 running @ 650 making it a nice 62% oc , also got to windows (98) @ 700mhz which is a 70% oc ,
this used a fridge thingy out an old bakery a peltier (80watt) and a converted washing machine pump + home made water block.
please note it was all too fiddly for lans ive got aircooling now!!!!!

LOL, I suppose taking the fridge to a LAN was a little difficult !
But at least you'd have somewhere to keep the coke and mars bars!
Cheers
Dai
Although give me a processor and the tools to do it and I will O/C it until it stops working (to clear the CMOS), which is slightly tricky on a 440LX Motherboard...
Done it with the PII 266 (original), got it running well over 340MHz (22% overclock). Then with the Celeron 333, which cooked at just over 400MHz. This 400Mhz Celeron though is quite tricky to break, I have maxed the speed out on the tools I have at 480MHz.

Most Cel 600 will o/c to 900 straight away.
But don't quote me on that 8)
Place bets now, going to try for 100MHz FSB on this Celeron 766. For a speed of 1150MHz.
Is it going to
a - not post
b - explode
c - post, but fall over immediately in Windows
d - post, get into Windows, but crash under strenous apps
e - work perfectly
:D

Must've been a,b or c !!!

Update, I`ve just changed to an Intel 815 based (but only single CPU) Abit SE6, and one of my Celeron 400`s gives 600, the other only 570.
You can guess which one I`m running now :)
That`s a 50% overclock thank you very much !
Wonder by what % Kryotech overclock their processors?
James
dont knwo what i got mine runin at
about 11% ish
PIII 500 runnin at 556 but its about as stable as a chair balancein on 1 leg on top of a mountain in high wind
dont know y its so bad it just dont like me
10min of quake3 and boom illigal op and all the rest then blue screen of death then the graffix go down but still only a few secs to cool off when u switch it off
anyway the guy at
benchtest.com (http://www.benchtest.com)
got his 366 celeron to run at 1080 very stable
thats pushin 200% (195%ish)
tell me ur air cooler can do that
(man u should not of let me play with the smilies)
ive had a 550E flipchip overclocked to 825mhz a 50% overclock, thats my best to date
at the moment i have a 1.2 AVIA Tbird clocked @ 1463MHz a 21.91% overclock
and also a 1Ghz AJFA Tbird clocked @ 1.13Ghz a 13% overclock
Now I'm concerned, My wifes 400 celeron is stable at 500 but after reading the above maybe it needs a better cooler. Runs at 46c.
I've already burnt her 233 + m/b, don't wanna pis her off again. ;)

running a P III 800Mhz Slot1 @ 920Mhz on an asus p3v4x board with 512Meg ram but cant get it to boot above this not even into the windows screen any suggestions
Runs perfect at this with win 2k
i feel the need
the need for speed :(
My celeron would fall over all the time untill I replaced the ram w 133, maybe your memory is freaking out. :)

tried crucial pc133 cas2 2X 128Meg and couldnt even get it above 880Mhz
might try to up the voltage to the cpu and see what happens :D

I'vce managed to get my celeron 800 running rock solid at 993.
Asus p3bf, 256 crucial cas 2 ram and a fsb of 124. been like that for a few days and seem solid. Running a little warm, 45 or so under load with one of those taisol coolers.
Thats about 20% overclocked by my reckoning.
Also my old celeron 300a still runs at 450 after two years but still seems ok at 50% overclocked.
Anybody ever got a 800 celeron to post at a 133 fsb??
I would try but this is my work machine. and I can't afford to toast it.
I tried my dual PIII 933's at 1127MHz but the PC locked up. Running at 1002MHz is entirely stable and I have risked it for a short while at 1050MHz. Before any AMD fans slag me for using Intel, my top priority is for 2 processors - no real choices as yet.

i am in the middle of building a dual P III system with two 1Gig chips 512Meg ram Win 2K set to raid 0 want to put a asus v8200 geforce 3 in it but a bit expensive just now dont know what it will clock up to or what kind of 3d benchmark i will get but it should be good though :D
i'll try to finish it in time for lan@yr II

Mine are currently A -
TBird 1ghz@1.17 AGFA
Pentium3 700@970 cB0
I dont bother to OC the rest of my comps, considering they include file server, firewall/proxy, mp3 server. Im the cautious type (yeah right). :D

Tbird 850 @ 1000 :) nice round number , couldn`t be happier
I have had my new 566 celeron overclocked to 706 with ease, but I killed it when I tried to bump it up to over 800, sorry guy's too late for me to bother working out the %.
Operating with a UDMA 100, 30 gig drive and 256 mb 133mhz ram. Should take a while for me to fill this one up with junk :)

1Ghz at 1.450Ghz max (1.333Ghz stable)
so 45% and 33%
Ok , I have a Duron 800 sweating away at 1100 in mt Abit kt7a raid , As stable as you like :) .
dual celeron 366's at 110*5.5, abit bp6
that's an overclock of 110/66 = 66% overclock on each, and they were right next to each other.
air cooled (just random cheap n nasty standard celery fan)
they were the best ones i had from 6 that i bought :) the rest ended up at 550 apart from one that just didn't OC at all :)
i had 2 of them in a supermicro p6-dbs on slotkets too ... a nice 1.1Ghz machine next to the 1.2ish Ghz one :)
and that was ages ago!
axia 1000mhz @10x150 on a iwill kk266r
p2350 slw..or summit @3.5 x150 525mhz abit be6

Does anyone here remember the OC Addiction overclock contest that happend about a year ago.
I entered my duron into that and only managed to get into the TOP 10 (world wide) for the most overclocked Duron
Here's a decent site for help / advice on Overclocking
www.overclockers-network.com (http://www.overclockers-network.com)
Some of the guys here have much higher overclock's than me. 100%+ :)
1000mhz axia y week10 clocked at 1600+ 1.81core voltage idle 38c munching 50c
only if i had vapachill or water cooling
60% clock

Had PIII 600 running on a QDI Synactix2E board at 6 x 160 (960Mhz) using the onboard video & sound (no extra cards or cooling). As soon as you placed a seperate AGP card into teh system it wouldn't post. It sure did scream along though !!!!!

CeleronII600@1080 - if my maths are right, I recon that's 80% overclock.
Also used to have a P3-600E running at 930, again if my maths are right that's 55%
