I thought you sold pre-overclocked systems when you started ? I noticed that a lot them would bluescreen in the shop does this mean that those systems were unstable? if so did you actually sell any (unstable) systems to paying customers?

damn direct x is really a bugger at times isnt it or so the monkey "boy" told me :D

We still build overclocked systems, but only on request. We found the bare bones overclocked systems to not be a fantastic move - because a lot of compoenents become involved that we have no means of controlling - so we will only overclock if we`re building the whole system and able to test it thoroughly.

If the demo systems crash (which they occasionally do) its nothing to get upset over - we frequently try and see how far we can push them, try out beta drivers / bios` etc on them - they are there to be mucked about with, and we can`t learn unless we do that stuff.

So what would you do if someone asked you for something extreme like a Athlon clocked to 2GHz? Could you do it?

um, wouldn`t like to - its going a bit extreme, wouldn`t be able to put a warranty on something like that...

But with Vapochill or Kryotech cooling it might be possible no? Maybe not with the current Athlon (max at standard bus bandwidths is 133 x 13 = 1729MHz, but Palamino supports well beyond that.
