I am currently building this system from some scraps if anyone is interested:
Good Looking Compaq Case
Pentium 133MHz
Compaq Motherboard
49MB of RAM (Don't say you can't have it in that config, I have)
2.5 GB Hard Disk
4x CD-ROM
Floppy Disk
Standard 10/100 NIC
14" VGA Monitor (can get better one for mor e £)

I was going to use it as a little proxy server but I want ISDN more :)

£160

And this one will soon be up for sale:
Pentium II 350MHz @ 500Mhz
Legend QDI P6I440BX BrillianX 1S Motherboard
2x Antec Silent Fans
1x Sunon "As loud as a jumbo jet" fan
Antec SX1030B Black Case (The coolest case ever)

HP Deskjet 670C (one little fault: you need to push the paper into the feed :))
A4 Flatbed Scanner
Windows 98 SE
Microsoft Office 2000 Developer Edition

£800 ono
I know this may seem a hell of lotta money for a 500MHz system but it is the best computer I have ever used. I have had it running for the past 54 days 13 hours 57 minutes and 14 secs. It has been doing SETI@home and various other things and has not crashed once. A very able and stable machine. And also the best looking, the Black Antec case is just sheer coolness and brilliance rolled into one.

So e-mail me if anyone is interested.

As for that P200 it is not a Pentium it is:
HyperTec Hyperrace Millenium 200 MHz MMX

It comes complete with a heatsink and fan.

It is Socket 7 (the old type)

So get in touch

But it's not a 500Mhz system, you said earlier it was a 350Mhz OC'd to 500Mhz. You'll never get £800 for it, maybe £400 if you're lucky.

Get rid of the slower one and keep that 500Mhz one, then get your own small LAN going. Get a switch, or even a router if you're getting ISDN. :)

Marc :-)

----Edit----

In fact, you'll probably get nothing for the slow PC, strip it for parts and stick them in the faster machine. I don't know the advantage of two monitors on one PC, but who cares, will look sweeet :D

Afkamm and redwing are right !

Although I suggest that you give them all to your local Hospice shop or whatever and get a Spectrum :D

Cheers

Dai

I remember the days i had an Amstrad with fondness, was a 6128 with 128kb of memory.

Wish someone would hurry up and port all the games to shockwave lol seen a few and they're fun to play :D

Hey Dai-Bach, aren't you a bit young looking to be an air-traffic controller? LOL :D :p

If you need help with your LAN just ask :)
